Sustainable Futures Society

The Sustainable Futures Society (SFS) is a catalyst for creating sustainable and equitable economic, social and environmental development. Part of this mission includes public outreach to spread the word about sustainable development.

Phil von Hake joined SFS in 2002 as a Board Member and Webmaster, and E-Mail List Owner. He created an introductory brochure for SFS in 2004, and completed a long-overdue upgrade of the www.sustainablefutures.us website in 2006. A large portion of this website is devoted to SFS's work on the Holiday Neighborhood in Boulder.

PvH has also handled the majority of promotion for SFS events like the "Sustainability Lecture Series." The first of these events took place in October 2003. PvH created a flyer, and submitted calendar listings to numerous newspapers, journals, websites, and other publications. Turnout for these events have far exceeded expectations, and more events like these are planned for the future.
